Healthy Living Partnership Middlesex London

Healthy Living Partnership Middlesex London

The Healthy Living Partnership (HLP) works in collaboration with the public health professionals of the Middlesex-London Health Unit. Our partnership consists of approximately 50 local community organizations and volunteers who work together to promote healthy eating, physical activity and a smoke-free lifestyle. The HLP of Middlesex-London is funded by the Ontario Heart Health Program.

What do we do?

We are a community coalition/partnership who believes in promoting healthy lifestyles and positively influencing the health culture of our community. By working together, we achieve our ultimate goal of reducing the incidence of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, stroke, Type II Diabetes and cancer through health promotion and prevention initiatives.

In working together with the Ministry of Health Promotion, Board of Health, local community organizations and volunteers, we implement local community programs that have a primary emphasis on physical activity, healthy eating, and smoke-free living.
